Update September 9th 2023: Aslam and family’s have been freed!

Aslam injured his back at work one day 30 years ago. He lost his job because he couldn’t work, but still had medical expenses piling up. He borrowed money from the brickyard owner to pay the debt, but since then his wife, son, and daughter have been in slavery. His son, Younsaf, was 5 then, but is now making bricks as is daughter, Ribqa, who was born into slavery.

Cost of Freedom for Aslam & Family:

$980 USD - Debt to the brickyard owner

$2000 USD - Establish a financial footing

$390 USD - Funds transfer costs through Action Ministries International

$3,370 USD - Rounded up total (to provided a some contingency funds)
